Hailing from Ogun state, raised between Lagos and Kwara, Nigeria — a new musical sensation is emerging.
Born into a family of music enthusiasts, Dela's unique sound is a fusion of genres, blending reggae, pop, dancehall, R&B and hip-hop with captivating afrobeat rhythms. Her journey to stardom began in December 2022, when she was featured on Emaxee's project There Are No Rules To This — the beginning of a journey that has not slowed since.
In June 2023, Dela independently released her debut project, a two-pack EP titled Dela, which included the hit singles "Solomon" and "Save Me." The project was a massive success — amassing over a million streams across digital platforms and earning her a loyal fanbase of over 20,000 followers on social media.
Her debut EP MiOSis, released in November 2024, is a 7-track masterpiece that showcases her artistry and emotional depth. From the emotional ballads "Memories" and "In My Way" to the energetic "Pedal," "Melody," "Controlla" and "Water," Dela's music is a true reflection of her unique style.
